Oh Dear (tm) More surveillance, more taxes to follow

Trial of personal carbon trading scheme. What a joke. Nectar replaces ID cards by the back door.

CO2 comprises 0.0384% by volume of the Earths atmosphere.
we (Mankind) produce 4% of the worlds CO2.
we (Britain) produce 2% of 4% that mankind produces.

Why the flip are we(Britain) taxed to the bollocks for producing 0.0008% of the worlds CO2?

The world needs CO2 to be converted to O2 by plants, so the more CO2 we create then the more oxygen will be produced. Why don't they just plant more trees FFS? Simple really.

            Costs you £26/year

However, doing this does not stop New Labour charging you £10,000 a year in "green" taxes.

because you need a forest the size of....oh, ....Brazil. Could use Australia if Brazil aren't up for replanting however it would likely be a forest of cactii as sweet fa else is likely to grow with no water. Not sure how efficient cactii are at CO2 > O2 conversion either....

Oz will be fine, just power a de-salination/irrigation plant with solar panels across half the country, then plant the rest with forest and hosepipes - job's a good-un.
