One day the Police turned up and started breaking down his front door. He rushed there and got his shoulder against it just as a copper had managed to get his arm through the gap - whereupon one of the dogs turned up and, recognising the malevolent nature of the arm, bit hard and dragged it (and the rest of said copper) through the door, throwing my friend to the ground a safe distance behind the door, but leaving the copper lying in the doorway with a dog attached to him.
The rest of the Police charged in, trampling over their colleague (they didn't even try to jump over) without so much as a by-your-leave
It's a tough job, but somebody's got to do it

Then there's a septic judge presiding over a case at the moment whose just had some deeply offensive material found on his website, worse than the stuff he's currently trying...Insanity: repeating the same actions, but expecting different results.
