    Internet Away From Home?

    Hi all,

i'm in London doing the Monday-Friday hotel thing for the next 5 months.

Internet is £7 a day in the hotel, they have BT OpenZone wireless, but thats fairly expensive too.

I was thinking about getting a 3G datacard for my laptop. Whats options do I have?

Could anyone recommend something they have used thats not too expensive.

I'm only gonna be using it to check email, reads news sites etc. Nothing major.

Oh, and whatever I go with, can I expense it in?

    Help appreciated.

Tons of places do free wifi. Many of 'em are pubs, etc.
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

I have a 3 USB dongle in MyCo's name - does the job very well, IMO.. PAYG and monthly (from £10 a month) options..

You won't go far wrong with one of these.

£39.99 for the dongle. Top ups are £10, £15, £25 and give you 1GB, 3GB and 7GB respectively.

Perfect for general surfin, CUK, MSN and email/webmail.

Top ups last for 30 days or until you use up the quota (whichever comes first).

I use the USB one from Vodafone...works good...on both Mac and XP, although it is more reliable and easier install on the Mac.
