    Wilslow : Outed !

    Hmmm....

Just received an email from a pimp, touting for CV's for a job "Cisco Support Engineer : Oswestry OR Oxfordshire"

and the email address to reply is :

    [email protected]

    Busted !
Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.

Unless of course the email is meant for the Wilmslow branch of Hays IT, and the guy who deals with Telecoms Recruitment...

      OMG, there's a place called Wilmslow ?

The thought chills me to the bone.

          http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wilmslow

It's a town south of Manchester. The trains from Euston sometimes stop there. However the wiki article on the town talks about the CUK poster:

Much about the local Iron Age history of Wilmslow was uncovered with discovery of Lindow Man, in Lindow Moss. Preserved in the peat bogs for 2000 years, Lindow Man is one of the most important Iron Age finds in the country. Despite a campaign to keep Lindow Man in the area, he was transferred to the British Museum
Edit: The Wiki article says that Wilmslow's where Alan Turing topped himself. So it must be a tribute to the great man.

Taken across the sea to England.

            Shirley?

Oh well - better late then every.

I would have thought he would kept a low profile since you found him out - can't be very good at filtering the CV's - I'm not even an engineer - can't see anything that they could have matched my CV against.
