Who's not in the pub tonight?

Seems to be a few folk around. I've got some work to do to meet a deadline but still have a glass of wine to hand since I work from home.

I most definitely will not be going to the pub.

Even the reference to your glass of wine is churning my stomach!

It appears I can no longer drink over a gallon of cider and not suffer the next day.
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

      'kin' lightweight!

      I however have an excuse.

      I'm off the alcohol.

          Nope, I'm in training.

I've got a rematch against a yank down at Lakenheath and this time I'm not going to get quite as hurt!

So, not a drop shall pass my lips until after July 5th.

There's a bit of "friendly" rivalry at the Krav Maga group I belong to at RAF Lakenheath.

You know what the Yanks are like...

                  What's the difference between a yank and a 747?

A 747 stops whining when it lands.

                    Sounds nice:

The guiding principles for those performing Krav Maga techniques are:

                    Do not get hurt
Neutralise your attacker as fast as possible
Go from defending to attacking as quickly as possible
                    Use the body's natural reflexes
                    Strike at any vulnerable point
Use any tool or object available to you
According to a description written for the self-publication media site

Associated Content, the basic premises of Krav Maga are:

You're not going to care how much damage you're going to cause.
Cause as much damage as possible and run.
Do not try to prolong a fight. Do what needs to be done and escape.
