    Is it me?

On my current gig I am now the longest serving contractor on the project ( or will be once the latest departure happens in a couple of weeks. )

In the 9 months i've been here so far one quit to go permie elsewhere, one quit for a better gig, one quit for "personal reasons" and one was escorted from the premesis.

last 3 gigs I've had, someone in the team I'm working with has left within a few weeks of me turning up.

    I'm starting to get a complex !

Maybe its just permies who can't handle the competition.

What was the 'escorted off the premesis' one for?

Nope, not this time, I'm still here. The other guy got escorted off site ( Gross Misconduct I believe, emphasis on the Gross ).

Now if you claimed *he* was MF you might have been closer

Sounds like my sort of chap
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

It's always nice to see someone escorted offsite.

When I was with IBM one of the account DPEs had the temerity to resign to take up a job with HP, he was out of the building and on gardening leave within 5 minutes
