    Now that's dire!

    1.00 GBP = 22,738,300,016.67 ZWD

I knew they were suffering "hyper inflation", but I had no idea how "hyper"!!!!

They recently issued a 5 million ZMD Note just to try and keep up. Won't even buy a loaf of bread.

Why is the exchange rate important? You thinking of going there for a holiday?

Maybe the exchange rate unchanged since a year ago?

I think the highest denomination now is a 500m Zimbabwe dollar banknote.

Last time I was there the highest denomination note was 100 zim. Try getting enough for dinner in your wallet.

I believe they have issued 500's and 1000's since then but these days they are working with some sort of cheque system.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

They said on the radio the other day that the amount of bank notes needed to buy a loaf is actually heavier than the loaf itself.

same with toilet paper. By area, more valuable than bank notes
