Worst first date

Heard one of those phone in on the radio the other day asking for worst first dates -winner was some girl whose fella took her to a dog show where he was showing his Dashound ( jokes about showing her his sausage – ha ha)

So what was everyone’s worst first date?

Asked by a fella if I would be his ‘guest’ at a wedding – only problem was he would have to say overnight as the wedding was in Cheshire. Don’t worry - have a female pal & you can share a room with her and gave me her number so I could call her to check he was on the level – Oh well I thought – what the hell. Gave her a call and she almost begged me to go – Ooh you’re the girl he fancies, we have all asked him to ask you, poor xxxx has’nt had a girl friend in ages!!

Now alarm bells should have rang at this point.

Went, to Wedding, straight to the Church – Lovely service and all that

Met bride at reception, met pal and put bags in her room.

After meal, several drinks stated talking to bride and pal at bar. How do you know xxxx I asked?

Bride ‘ His my ex husband, didn’t you know?
Pal ( who was brides sister!) ‘ I went out with xxxx for a while, after his divorce, but family pressure drove us apart’

Most expensive taxi ever as I was 95 miles from home – worth every penny!!!!!

Was a virgin till I did my first tour, the guys thought it would be a hoot to let the rest of the crew know who then arranged a few groupies. Baptism of fire to say the least.

Hardly a first date but been trying to recreate that moment ever since, didn't realise shagging in public was frowned upon. Or in taxis, hotel bars, security cameras, I could go on...

Thanks for spoiling my reply - I was about to make that sausage joke!

My worst first date, or zeroth date as it turned out, was as a student.

Soon after starting uni, I got an evening job in a warehouse to make a few pennies, and got pally with a young local girl working there. Next weekend I phoned her to ask if she wanted to go to the cinema, and she said she would but couldn't make it as it was pissing down with snow outside and already about a foot deep.

Looking out of the phone box in the city centre, not ten miles from where she was, I couldn't see any sign of snow and hinted that she might be fibbing, at which she slammed the phone down and that was the end of that. Next day, listening to the local weather forecast, it turned out there had been a heavy snowfall where she was. DOH!

Personally, I've never really had a nasty experience.

I've never really had a bad date to be fair. Not a bad one of epic proportions anyway.


I do know a girl who met someone online dating. He'd lied about his height. She was 5'10" so was looking 6'+ and this guy was 5'8" at the most. She invited him back to her place where he thought he was going to get a shag but she preceeeded to get a tape measure out and measured him.



Apparently she was a little ****ed off having been on 16 dates through the internet and them all having been a-holes.
