Hello.
I've got some spare time on my hands (yeah, I'm on the subs bench!) and am looking at the Self Assessment form sent out by HMRC in April. It says the due date is 31st October - but I'm thinking of tackling it now simply because I have the time.
I presume there's no reason not to send this in early? Would there be any disadvantages to this?
A couple of related questions:
- I presume as a limited company with myself as an employer, I am classed as 'Employed', not Self Employed?
- P60 forms. I received this from SJD as I used to be with them. Do I presume that HMRC sent this directly to them as they were acting on my behalf? If you don't have a year round accountant, would this automatically be sent to you?
Many thanks, Gros.
