    Car advice.

Does the Phaeton enjoy the same good reputation as the Passat?

I have my eye on a nice W12 version for about 15K but I will not pursue if the passat is the true contractor limo.

Sounds like a lot to me. The @rse has fallen out of the second hand car market and those things depreciate heavily so surely you could pick it up for a lot less?

I agree that it should be suitable for the missus and sprogs.

I will most likely still take tram no. 12 to work

Same chassis and drivetrain as a Bentley Continental, so can't be all bad. They do depreciate like crazy, but it sounds like you've taken the worst of the hit. How old is it?

I think I could get a lot of motor for the money with such a barge.

Agreed. As long as it's the one with the big engine.

Did not know that thoe options exist.

                    It is this one http://suchen.mobile.de/fahrzeuge/sh...e&pageNumber=1

looks like the 5 seater to me. The 4 seater has a "table" between the rear seats, right?
