Question for the experts: These Flat Screen TV's

    Morning All,

well the time has come to invest in one of the flat screen tv's, but what to buy and what to spend ?

    Specification:

I'd like to get a 37" or ~40" flat screen tv

    Questions:

. How much to spend, shall I go for a 500quid one, or go upto 1000quid ?

. Which brand, Sony, Samsung, Sharp, Toshiba ?

. Full HD or HD Ready and all this other stuff ?

    . Plasma or LCD ?

    Thanks,

    Milan.

    Go to

Give them your price and ask your questions and you'll get a tonne of info (Or just search the gazillion posts there on this topic).

once I have this tv, I'll have to get the Satellite magic box working, that'll be a larf

currently the satellite dish is pointing the wrong way, had some strong winds and it moved, anyone fancy going up and setting it to the right direction ?

but the digital terrestial still works :-)

So you think at the cutting edge because you're getting a flat-screen now?

Your potato farm must be even more isolated than I thought.
