    Prescott cheers up Labour...

... by comparing them to the Titanic!

    Oh dear (BBC)

The former deputy prime minister was undoubtedly trying to be helpful to Gordon Brown when he made the point that it wasn't the captain who sunk the Titanic, it was the iceberg which did the damage.
    Well who steered into it?

        As Alan Partridge once said

There's a lot of bad things written about the Titanic, but don't forget that until it hit the ice berg there had been thousands of miles of perfectly happy and non eventful sailing.

        (or words to that effect)
Rule Number 1 - Assuming that you have a valid contract in place always try to get your poo onto your timesheet, provided that the timesheet is valid for your current contract and covers the period of time that you are billing for.

        I preferred version 1!
