              ...or Neil Morrissey's character on Boon. Ozzy Osbourne hasn't done much for it either.

              We moved from the Black Country when I was fairly young so I didn't have chance to pick up the accent, although I do find it very "friendly" and warming, and it doesn't seem to grate as much as some other accents - that might just be due to my familiarity with it though.
