    Councils to buy unsold homes

    http://uk.news.yahoo.com/itn/2008082...t-dba1618.html

I predicted a few months back that this might happen, and those sw anky unsold and reposessed riverside appartments that used to be so popular with BTLers and city yuppies will become the new council blocks of the future.

How are councils going to buy £500K flats overlooking the Thames?

Are you suggesting they are not worth £500K anymore?

What ARE you saying! That property prices are falling?

    Heretic.

Nice to know the City yuppies are getting some new friends from different social backgrounds though.

I reckon Manchester's going to have some pretty swish council houses.

On them! On them! They fail!
