    Stamp duty to be £175K....

This is bad news for people like me with a house worth around £200K.

This means I am likely to have to sell for £175K.....

Makes me wonder if they are also going to keep the £250K level....

But you have only just moved and afaik the 175k thing is only for a year. Therefore shouldn't affect you at all?

You should be grateful to get an offer at £175k.

Don't worry, your car park will be worth £175k this time next week.

All house prices under 175000 will go up by 1% for a year. Then go down.

I can see how that will help things.

Suprising that it was not 2 years - until after next election.

So you can either lose £25,000 on the sale price, or pay their £2,000 stamp duty for them.

                    It's up to you.
