    Big Bang day !!

The Large Hadron Collider goes live on Sep. 10th.

Aren't these things theoretically capable of creating mini black holes ?

If so the Cuckoo Clock in Switzerland will be compressed into a single pointi n space and time at bottom of a void !

I am willing to take £100 bets at 10:1 that the Earth will not be turned into a mini black hole.

Cuckoo clocks are Black Forest and the Tyrol. Not Switzerland. Switzerland is nazi gold, so I can see how the confusion arose.
Down with racism. Long live miscegenation!

Hardly - I'm away at the client's on Wednesday...

Still I refuse to stay in my B&B and mope so I'm going out, having a nice meal and a bottle of bubbly. Even if I'm on my own...

Anyway, I shall be in sunny Lanzarote so won't be able to wish you happy birthday. Have this as an early present.
