    LSE feeds frozen

If anyone's interested the LSE has been frozen for orders for the last hour or so.

The collapse has started. I must leave now to buy tinned food and bottled water then retire to my bunker.

      "LSE feeds frozen"

For a tiny moment I had a vision of students and faculty members of the London School of Economics going on an humanitarian mission to bring food to the Inuit peoples in the Arctic Circle.

You've come right out the other side of the forest of irony and ended up in the desert of wrong.

Funny enough couple of mates of mine work down there, in networks - just sent them this:

          http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/business/7603981.stm

And enquiring if they were perhaps a bit busy today!!

As long as you're not responsible for the original screw up, whatever it is then days like that are as fun as it gets in IT I reckon!

              Mmmmmm.

You try having an open position or orders to fill and all you get from IT is "there are conectivitiy issues".

There'll be a few connectivity issues between people and jobs by the end of the day!
How did this happen? Who's to blame? Well certainly there are those more responsible than others, and they will be held accountable, but again truth be told, if you're looking for the guilty, you need only look into a mirror.

Just in case any of you have not seen it...

                http://www.thewebsiteisdown.com/

NSFW for two reasons, fistly there is a c0ck shaped object in part of the movie, secondly, this made me laugh so much I nearly puked.

Am sure this has been posted on the forums before but would hate for anyone to miss out on this treat...
