    Independant Methodists

    Some of the wierd, distorted views of reality displayed on this very board, remind me a bit of Independant Methodists.

    Do we have any here? I bet we do.

        Is Independant Methodist, some randon weirdo arm of methodist?

        I'd like to just mention I have no idea what a methodist really is, all Prods to me - no offence!

          I was apparently brought up one. (A Methodist that is.)

          Strangely all my church bothering family have never been to such a church for years.

            WSA(sked).

            Around here the Methodists seem mostly harmless. They do a good book sale once a year and let the scouts use their church hall.

            I don't think they are Independant ones though.

                    They are just a break away group of Methodists. So instead of having representatives of their church or circuit at the annual Methodist conference they have their own annual meeting.

                    Google Methodists then Independent Methodists. And skim read until you get bored.
