Brown and Darling did alright yesterday

I hate to say it but all the general sentiment with the experts in the City is that it was a masterful package. So much so that other countries are expected to copy it shortly.
    Hard Brexit now!

Masterful as in covering the City's woefully inept and corrupt fat arse with taxpayers' lolly? A winner all the way.

                Yes he is.

Also, what a superb precedent Gordo & Darling have now set: You can f--k it all up like backward chimps, cos we'll always, always bail you out. The thing is, whilst something like this (just bleedin' obvious, not masterful) had to be done, it's the fact that the Gov. stood idly by, seemingly oblivious, to the turdfest that our financial systems were. And now it's " By the power of Greyskull we've magically put it all to rights... at a modest charge of $20k per head." THAT'S masterful, is it sasTwonk-who-doesn't-know-anything-for-toffee-sad-git-who-even-now-thinks-the-City-is-fabulous idiot.

Yeah thanks for all your lovely tax, guys
It's only fair: the City has proppped up the country for years - now it's payback time.
But we will suffer - I think my bonus might only be 50% of last year's

If bailing out the City stops the whole country falling into a pit of unemployment and poverty, then it's a good option, regardless of whether the City workers deserve it. Longer term it would be good to change how things work but right now I'm happy for the fat-cats to keep their £multi-million bonuses if it improves the big picture. Trying to get revenge on the bankers is petty and counter-productive.

                    It's a big if though...
