    Company Stationary

I'm interested to know how many people out there have actually had a logo, letterhead, business cards etc made and do you think it is a worthwhile investment?

    Yes.

    I used Vistaprint

Depends on how "disguised" an employee you are I guess.

Yep, makes a big difference if you're dealing with clients direct and trying to promote your business.

And get good quality printed biz cards as well, not the prontaprint ones from those shopping center kiosks.
If you think my attitude stinks, you should smell my fingers.

A few years ago I had a window cleaner who's business cards were hand-scrawled on badly cut-out brown cardboard. Having been unemployed for a bit, he was just starting out, and was knocking on doors down my street selling himself as Mr Reliable. Give him a chance, I thought.

I should have known. He turned up next day, and refused to do one window because he had to put his foot on part of the tiled roof to reach it. I never saw him again.

So the moral is, don't have a window like mine.

Yes, definitely and essential in working direct land. I use my local Printing.Com franchise. Don't get cheap, crappy ones though, these Luxury Cards are very nice.

I guy I used to know had his business cards done on flexible razor-blades. Original, and very handy for cutting your Charlie up down the bogs.

                cards

I have business cards, mainly because I felt like all those little vendor certification logos deserve putting somewhere.
I don't know where they get printed because our designer handles that sort of thing. So nerr.
