Just had a conversation with a seemingly stupid contractor

Sold him the usual story and he gave me 4 references up front.

I thought it was a bit odd when he asked me to ask my referees if they were recruiting before I sent him their details. Ho hum...

OP: How long does it take to spell "Bee"?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

It is an American thing. They have spelling contests (called spelling bees) for kids.

I know I see it as my duty to defend our language against the ubiquitous invasion of valley girl speak

All of them - now I know who hires low-skilled contractors.
