Supermarket cooked meat counter appreciation thread

In an effort to not spend too much on lunch - what with all the doom and gloom and etc I thought I'd wander into Sainsburys for an el-cheapo something for lunch....

Think I'll have 1/2 a roast chicken tomorrow, or maybe the ribs, or joint of pork, or just some bits of chicken like I had today

Better to go to your local butcher and buy some cheap cuts of lamb or mutton, get some spuds, onions and carrots at the greengrocer then make yourself a Lancashire hotpot. Best comfort food in the world.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

I'm sure the office canteen won't mind if you cook it there!

I’ll be cooking it at the rugby club this weekend. Now you just have to figure out which rugby club.

          That would get my vote.
Where are we going? And what’s with this hand basket?

Joking aside, my favourite is Tesco, cheese topped half baguette 37p, half price cumberland sausages at 12:45 because they cook too many, 2 of, 98p, squirty bottle of ketchup in glove box, 56p.

Look on faces as Cheshire-Set see me sat in my MR2 with a skinhead listening to Radio 4 (sorry!) and this biggest damn home made hot dog in the world....priceless.

No, cook it in the evening and warm it up in the office microwave. You could even take it with you in a thermos flask.
