I susually put some obscure bug in the system which will pop up 3 weeks later so they call me in to fix it, which of course takes about a week of "advanced diagnostics" at increased rates for a short term contract.

Spend the morning exploratory testing and hopefully find a great big juicy bug that delays implementation and gets everyone's contract extended.

Spend the morning sorting out my time sheets and other paperwork. Pop round everyone saying goodbye. Invite everyone to my desk for cakes and drinkies that I have thoughtfully provided. Bugger off at lunch time.
I am not qualified to give the above advice!

…having got your timesheet signed for 8 hours?

Prepare for either new contract or even better, long holiday.

I remove all my personal items from the PC (copies of CVs, emails to friends, pictures I've downloaded, MSN history, browser history, bookmarks etc)
Cooking doesn't get tougher than this.

                    1) Get timesheet signed.

                    2) Clear browser cache on client PC.

                    3) Invite the key people to lunch.

                    4) Leave early and celebrate freedom.
