TV programme, Neil Morrisey has to launch a new beer and run a pub to make a profit.

He's bought a country pub with a mate and they are in the process of ripping out the interior and refurbishing it.

Problem is, it was a perfectly nice country pub in the first place, and anything they do to it will be a step backwards

Not only are they refurbing the pub but also starting their own micro-brewery. They seem to know jack s**t about either industry. interesting to see how much money they lose

Was the pub running at a loss prior to the alterations?

it looked busy enough, if it was running at a loss then it would have been down to mismanagement.

Only refurb it might have needed was a partial one for a new dining area, maybe turn it in to a gastro pub but keeping the original bar area
