Microsoft BizSpark is a global program designed to help accelerate the success of entrepreneurs and early stage startups. In addition to a very generous software offer, BizSpark also provides professional support from Microsoft technical experts, as well as visibility on the BizSparkDB website.

What are the benefits of enrolling in BizSpark?

    Get Software

Design and Development and tools for your dev team (including Expressions Studio, Visual Studio 2008 and VSTS Team Foundation Server)
Production licenses to run your software-as-a-service business on the following server platforms: Windows Server, SQL Server, Office SharePoint Server, Systems Center, and BizTalk Server

    Get Support

Professional technical support from Microsoft: 2 technical support incidents per Startup

Access to MSDN Premium: managed newsgroups, forums, download, etc.
Community Support from BizSpark Network Partners: guidance, resources, and mentoring to help your Startup grow

    Get Visibility

Opportunity to be highlighted on the BizSparkDB as a featured company and be promoted as BizSpark Company of the Week on the Microsoft Startup Zone Website

What are the requirements and what does it cost to enroll?
In order to register for the BizSpark program, your company must:

    Be privately held
Be in business for less than 3 years
Have less than $1 Million USD in revenue annually

Enrollment is free. Microsoft will assess each startup a USD $100 program offering fee due at end of participation in the Program.

    Where can I learn more?

You can also profile your company and become visible to potential partners, investors and clients on BizsparkDB.com

For a moment there I thought they were giving away Biztalk. After all, I can't imagine anyone would pay for that pile of petrified horse manure.

Damn! I always seem to fail on one of the criteria for these offers!

Yeah you earn your 20K annually in Pounds, ah well they might bend the rules for that one.

For $200 a year you can get just about every piece of MS software through their Action Pack. I just received my copy of SQL Server 2008 to go with my 10 Vista licenses, various versions of Windows Server 2008, VS2008, and a whole bunch of software which I don't even know what it is/does.
