    Mixing leisure with work

My psychiatrist recently recommended that i try and connect more with friends and family, after a few years contracting I was starting to feel a bit isolated.
Anyway, I try and make a few calls during the day, catch up with friends and talk to some normal, nonwork, human beings.

Unfortunately the contractor I sit with seems to take great exception to this, always sits there glowering at me.

Without resorting to pissing on his shoes... how can I get him on side?

[edit] PM says he's not being renewed so looks like the problem has sorted itself out

Invite him in on the conference calls if he takes of his headset!

Be professional and take your personal calls away from people trying to do some actual work?

                Quality

I wouldn't rule out the shoes option too early though

Puts down the phone, waits, oh, 10seconds, another call. All day. Bizarre. Manager doesn't notice. I am so tempted to grass him up. I think if he gets a contract extension (probably not) I will.
                  Is this you???
