    Mandatory leave

    Client’s sending all contractors on mandatory leave for the last 3 weeks of this year in a cost cutting measure, except for me and one or two others who are working on ‘essential projects’. Since when was posting on CUK an ‘essential project’?
    And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

      Yes, but I was rather hoping for a couple of weeks off, and anyway, seeing as I’m up for renewal from 31 december I’m not likely to be difficult about it.
