Indian Programmers

In all the time I've known the Indian Programmers, I never understood why they had to suffer sub-standard accommodation, had no rights of residence and had a lower pay scale than their fellow "British" programmers and yet they have worked on the same programs. I would ask that if you believe they should receive the same rights as the developers worked alongside then you add your name to the petition.

But then companies would have to pay them the same rate as UK contractors.

And then they would have to jump through all the hoops that UK contractors jump through, i.e., brainbench tests, 3 interviews, answering obscure questions at interview, etc, etc.

Personally, I've never experienced a good Indian developer and they deserve what they're paid.

I’ve seen quite enough of the tulip produced by Indian ‘CMM Level 5’ software factories.
