They need her to put them out of their misery.

Jeremy Clarkson however begs to differ

I think she just wets herself and mumbles about Heseltine being a bastard these days.

      shopping list

"Do we have a bottle of champagne in the fridge, darling?"
"No. Well, yes, but that one is so that we'll be ready when the evil bitch from Hell finally goes".
"OK, I'll get another one for tonight"
      "But she might..."
      "Then we'll have two".

Is that the worst CUK simile ever?
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

What Maggie did was expose the myth that socialism was a well meaning benign ideology. She showed that even the working classes were quite capable of owning property, getting a job other than working in the local pit, and that people did not need the state after all.

All the trendy so called well intentioned wealthy socialists with a gruddge against the Tory voting middle classes (driven by guilt and envy) no longer enjoyed any moral high ground by parading themselves as "caring socialists".

It is this latter group that even today cannot bear to admit that their prosperity is down to the reforms of the Thatcher government. These people have no moral high ground anymore. All they have left is a string of irrelevant side effects that they beat Thatcher with. The irony is that these people were purging their consciences by supporting the truly evil and destructive system of government that ultimately made it necessary for Maggie to come to power.

Quite right, but her govt made the rest of society realise it.
