    Chavonomics

Remember you heard it here first.
I have defined a new term "Chavonomics". This is when a country becomes a chav and borrows money till the next pay day (if that ever happens) to fund stuff it cannot afford.
    I suppose t'was inevitable.
I wonder how many people realise this country is really bankrupt. It simply does not generate enough in products and services to sustain it now, or in the future.
    Hard Brexit now!

It's the new Pyramid scheme economy
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

I quite like it, as long as I am at the top of the pyramid and the chavs below.

And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

No party is facing reality because the reality is too horrible to contemplate.
Living standards will have to fall in real terms if the country is to live within its means.
All these economic shennangans are only postponing the inevitable - prepare for riots and civil unrest when the great British public realise that being British doesn't mean you are guaranteed a high standard of living.
