Any highly recommended Accountants in Cheshire?

Good evening. I'm making the jump to a ltd company - rather than continue lining the pockets of my umb company. Can anyone recommend a decent accountant in the north-west/cheshire area? Also - what should I expect to be paying each month?
    Many thanks.

Rob, I'm not based in Chesire, far from it, but in this electronic age I don't believe it is necessary to have a local accountant, although I do of course respect that many will prefer the local option.

I have a number of Contractor clients down south who will happily provide references to confirm the quality of my services. Most of these clients came to me after leaving much more well-known firms who 'specialise' in contractors. In most cases, I have saved them many thousands of pounds, through providing a more personalised service that allows me to provide much more proactive, specific and tailored advice.

I'd be happy to have a chat with you later in the week if you wish.

Either way, make sure that you choose an accountant who fully understands IR35, S660 et al and ask what he can do to maximise your income! I'd almost certainly expect to give you additional - and entirely legitimate - expenses and tax-saving options that the majority of others will overlook. Make sure you are more than a number and look for a service beyond the sales pitch.

    Good luck.
