Do Not Subscribe Idnet Dsl Broadband

25 days to set up the service. After my request to cancel the application they insisted I'd pay BT charges they had incurred.

No communication whatsoever from their side.

Gave them three different emails , still no communication is getting at my end.

Now the service is on and I am monitoring the quality readying myself to cancel within 7 days under the 7 days protection of the Distance Selling Regulations.

The service you have received is better than anything Virgin Media could ever hope to offer. I'd stick with them.

Seconded, though recently they were a bit patchy...

Their DNS sucks...use OpenDNS like I do.

I’ve been with IDNET for 2 years, I’ve never had a single problem with their customer service, they always answer straight away, they are UK based and the person you speak to is not working off a crib sheet. That is why I am happy to pay a premium for their excellent service.

A quick comparison here against some of the other industry leaders suggests you have been extremely unlucky.

            IDNET FTW

Each to their own, I've never had a problem with Virgin Media (or NTL) in the past 6 years.

              Now that is tempting fate.

Yeah, DNS sucks but other than that connectivity is good. I run local DNS server.

DimPrawn lives in the NTL-Hell segment of Virgin Network (which also includes pretty decent Telewest part)
