    "Honour" killings

    http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/e...on/7783875.stm

What's a better term? Total disgrace killings? Vile, sad loser killings?

    The right term is "murder".

Yes. However, the term in general use is "honour killings". So, it would be good to rebrand it to something pithy that portrays, with emotional impact, the utter lack of honour and opprobrium that these murders heap upon the family and perpetrators. "Murder" doesn't cut it. Even with a Taggart accent.

England has done way too much interfering in other peoples cultures. We should keep out of it.
