British/US stimulus to the economy is being over-done

Our muppet leaders are panicking and overdoing it.

Result: massive inflation in coming years.
maybe it's deliberate: quick way to erode debt.
So exagerate the perils of deflation, chuck money in to create inflation, and voila, debt problem solved
    Hard Brexit now!

Its a choice between fire and ice.

Personally I prefer inflation to deflation.

Isn't it great how we have so many experts on world economics just in this small online community.

You mean as opposed to the real-world "experts" who've cocked everything up?

...and taken much higher rates for doing it.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

It's one of the Red Adair moments, the experts are on here, posting drivel, because TPTB won't listen, so they let the amateurs at it, and look how expensive they are!

I think my cat could have done a better (or if not, no worse) job than the current lot. Certainly better than Blanchflower.

Our muppet leaders should have reduced interest rates a year before they did, instead of worrying about inflation. A timely boost to our economy could have saved us a lot of the pain that we will suffer in 2009. Still, you get what you vote for.
