    Free Support on Christmas Day

Has anyone spent their time today giving free technical support to family and friends who can't work their new gadgets and laptops?

A real contractor would not do that for free. At least he/she should get an extra slice of cake or something similar.

You make it sound as if being a real contractor is not compatible with being a decent human being...

Or might not charge any money... but then he/she would still fill up an invoice for 0.00 where he can claim costs incurred, like petrol and meals and so on...

My phone has remained on "ignore" the entire day to avoid such queries!!

No doubt in the new year I'll be flooded with them...

                + VAT

Real contractors surely are VAT registered...

I never knew so many people had so much porn. I must be weird, I don't save it, and hence I definitely don't have it filed and cross reference on excel spreadsheets into over a hundred different folders with a portable drive for off-site backup.

Finding porn on family members' PCs ? That must be really embarrassing

(especially if they're looking over your shoulder at the time )
