If you think the UK economy is bad, look at this

Yes it's the PIIGS. Not the pigs that appear in the sky when atw mentions SKA however.

Lucky we're not in the Eurozone.

Italy's debt is 105% of GDP

    Greece - nice climate.

    Spain - same.

    Italy - same.

Ireland - they speak English and got much lower taxes than UK and member of eurozone, meaning they will get all the proper investment that creates jobs etc.

Pathetic. I notice you're not moving to any of these any time soon.
Ireland has proper investment that creates jobs?
Why is the forecast for 3 years of decline and why is their unemployment rate rocketing even faster than here?

          Cretin.

No no - you don't understand. Everyone in the Euro zone is facing exactly the same economic pain-points, so there is absolutely no pressure for differing degrees of monetary and/or fiscal policy!
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? - Epicurus

It's all relative - nobody is going to get next great 2-3 years, it's sure as hell better than what UK is going to go through, thanks to people like you.

The irony is that I think soon the City will be demanding to join euro, though maybe not - running scams is done best when you got friendly local chaps in regulation and local central bank. From this point of view it sure makes sense for the City to keep pound.

Spain always had high unemployment - I think if all UK Govt tricks are taken into account you will find that true UK unemployment is probably over 10%.

Quite right. And its relatively much worse in the PIIGS countries already than it ever will be here.
