I don't know where these figures come from but Scotland has fallen much more than the prices they are stating.

Yeah but think about it...

People are saying house prices have fallen 16% blah blah, it's only fallen 16% of a stupidly inflated figure at the peak of the debt subsidized boom of mid 2000.

Scotland didn't have such a huge boom as other places (e.g. London) and probably has a realistic house price range, rather than these fly by night estate agents who pimped up the market down south.

To further my point, it would be better to have gained 30% then lost 16%, than say to only have increased 3% with 0% loss?
