    Gordon Brown's recession

    Anyone else noticed how the Tories have started to substitute recession for Gordon Brown's recession?

    Seems like a pretty good marketing plan to me!!

    No I hadn't noticed that, but it's about time the opposition got their act together.

        I'd just love to see another Labour government. After all, Gordon Brown is widely regarded as the best Chancellor in history by his supporters, so what can go wrong ?

          Saw quite a good billboard ad by the tories today. It shows a new born baby with the tag line of;

          dad's nose, mum's eyes and gordon brown's debt.

          It'd be funny if it wasn't so true.

            Gordon looks like a man on a mission, I can't say I've even noticed Cameron recently? I'm not saying either is right as this is a complex situation but Cameron's lack of presence speaks volumes.
            Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

              Not bad at all. They are still trying to match "Labour isn't working".

                agree - but I think he is playing it a little too cool. He knows he will be in power after the next elections unless something goes really bad for him and his party.

                  Perhaps there is a case for keeping quiet for the time being and letting Labour's incompetence speak for itself.

                  Let's face it, his good polls over the past year or so have been due to Gordon being useless rather than the tories saying much.
