    Presentations hints

    Anyone got good hints when presenting to Program Managers and stakeholders??? the subject is very dry, but need to know how to keep them interested ...


    BTW: am not wearing a skirt today.. hence they wont be distracted

    Use diagrams and examples where possible. Give them the old WIIFM.

            Are you sure, I would find it very distracting to be watching someone do a presentation wearing nothing but underwear from the waiste down............... oh sorry................I see now, my mistake.......... almost sent me to trap two again there.

                You have to explain in short, punchy terms what the benefits to the listeners are and why they would be mad not to do whatever it is. Many people make the classic mistake of assuming the benefits are obvious to all but most of the listeners would rather do nothing. You have to appeal to their selfishness.
