I think Turkey is one step too far for European Union.

If we welcome Turkey, then why not the whole middle east?

    Why not North Africa?

    All getting silly now.

      Turkey doesn’t need the EU.

I'm sure Greece are quite pleased they're not in the EU.

Muslims always stick together and this is not democracy. Imagine a vote in the EU which has a majority of muslims in 50 years time(not impossible as muslims breed at 3.5 per family in the UK, for example). It would be like a union block vote!!!

Muslim populations in Europe, including Turkey, are heavily urbanised. In every society on earth and in history, urbanisation has led to lower birth rates. There is no reason why this should not happen among Muslims.

What rubbish. The birth rate is 3.5 in the UK compared with .9 for Brits.

You only have to look at the voting in the European Song Contest to see muslim democracy at work !!

I find Turkey quite dry, so prefer chicken.
