Personally I'd rather gouge my eyes out with a rusty spoon. Surely the worldst dullest and dumbest sporting spectacle. 10 minutes of action spread over a four hour ad break.

I agree, and it can be fascinating. But it is a bit boring for those people who aren't into it and don't appreciate what's going on. You know, normal people.
I'm going to give it a shot, never tried it before. From what I hear it's a bit like cricket - short periods of action between long periods of talking and plenty of breaks, over several hours.

Kind of a shame we don't get to see the US adverts. Not into, and never have been into adverts generally, but the adverts during the superbowl are a bit special - kind of the main event of the year in advertising terms and all the big guns roll out tere best stuff for them.
And yeah, into gridiron - of that generation in the UK when it was popular for a few years, even used to play under 18's for a team here.
