Writing a song for a woman

Am wondering idly how many love songs have been written for the girlfriend of another musician?

Buddy Holly wrote "Peggy Sue" for his drummer Jerry Allison's girlfriend Peggy Sue Gerron. Peggy Sue married Allison (as in "Peggy Sue Got Married").

The Left Banke's keyboard player wrote Walk Away Renee for the bassist's girlfriend Renee Fladen-Kamm. Renee walked away.

Eric Clapton wrote Layla for Patti Boyd, then with George Harrison. Although the only one of these songs where the name was not the real one, this one worked and Clapton later married her. Harrison himself had written Something for her. Mick Jagger apparently fancied her for years but failed to seduce her: obviously he should have written her a song....

Brian Wilson wrote Caroline No about his wife, she was not called Caroline.

What about the Beautiful South - A song for whoever (think that's what it is called).

There's a lot of girlfriends listed in that one.
