    Lux Interior is Dead

    Link

I saw the Cramps back in the 80s on their Date With Elvis tour. They were a class act.

Many years ago I went to one of their Halloween parties. A little too bizarre, even for me. The party that is.

I saw them on that same tour. In Hammersmith.

Well, it was San Francisco, it was dark, some San Franciscans have a certain reputation, and many of them were at that gig.

            That's a shame.

I didn't know much about them when I watched them headline at the Reading Festival in 1990. I thought they were a bit mad.

Man, first saw them in the early 80's, even named a song after me:

Thee Most Exaulted Potentate of Love
The only thing is that Lux Interior's real name is a real pisser to say when you're whacked: Erick Purkhiser
