    Jobs galore

    http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/4...w-outlets.html

Fast food chain KFC is to buck the trend of the credit crunch and create up to 9,000 new UK jobs through a £150m investment programme that will see it open as many as 300 new restaurants over the next three to five years.

We are establising a new education policy in response to Britain's changing employment landscape.

From 2010 the following National Curriculum will be inplace:

Advanced burger flipping - Part of the sports council for deprived areas.
Do you want fries with that? - Marketing and public relations studies.
Large or small Diet Coke - Nutrition and economics.
If you've got a problem and no one else can help, and if you can find him, maybe you can hire...Gordon Brown ...( cue music )

I just wish they would start opening some Taco Bell's, they are owned by the same company as KFC
Politicians are wonderfull people, as long as they stay away from things they don't understand, like working for a living!

I have read in the news that also McDonald is doing very well.

All these hyper-paid marketing specialist do not appear to understand that the reason people are getting more into fast-food is not because of the product itself but simply because is the cheapest food available.

I can't see any valid reason to invest or create jobs in this sector (unless you believe that recession will last for many many years.... in which case... )
I've seen much of the rest of the world. It is brutal and cruel and dark, Rome is the light.

[Hiring Manager] "So I'm looking at your CV here, you've spent 25 years in industry implementing multi-million pound projects. What makes you think you can flip a burger?"

[Candidate] "......well after 3 years on the bench I mastered it after surviving off Tesco Value frozen Beefburgers"

[Hiring Manager] "Sorry, you have the skills required, but I've got guys here applying who have 5 to 6 years experience and I can't take the risk, good luck in your next application though, take heart from the fact you got shortlisted we had over 1750 applicants on this one".

Aren't all those A-levels for Media Studies, Sociology and General Studies a guarantee of jobs?
