    Finally someone has filed the case that everyone in the US who use's p2p has been waiting on

    This is the case peer-to-peer file sharers have been waiting for. Tanya Andersen, a 41 year old disabled single mother living in Oregon, has countersued the RIAA for Oregon RICO violations, fraud, invasion of privacy, abuse of process, electronic trespass, violation of the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act, negligent misrepresentation, the tort of "outrage", and deceptive business practices.

    Ms. Andersen's counterclaims demand a trial by jury.....

    Whats even more interesting is not only is she limiting the case to the powers and techniques they have been using to file "case's" and extract "fines" (prefure term extortion, they know and depend on people not being able to afford a fight against them) but is also claiming to be 100% innocent of copyright violation.

    Definatly bears watching as they are trying to get (in some ways have got) same powers over here, here's hopeing she manages to see it though to the end.

    hope she wins. If the RIAA have really sent some spyware in her computer and she can prove it, they'll be in deep tulip
