I'm bored with the economic gloom ...

...let's just scrap everything and start again. Back to cavemen-style living. Go out and kill your food or grow it. Learn to create your own shelter.
    Hard Brexit now!

I was on the bench once and I went blackberry picking on Hampstead Heath. Also ate a trout I'd caught that weekend on the River Test. Does this count?

These skills will become a necessity not a choice, I’ve been thinking this for a while.

It’s quite easy to pick up pheasant road kill and grow lots of veg in these parts, not so easy from a high rise in Peckham, can you scavenge much dead meat on the tube??
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I've just come back from holiday in the US where I met someone that kills his own meat with a bow and arrow. He's not an indian but he reckons it's fairer that using a rifle (of which he has several).
...my quagmire of greed....my cesspit of laziness and unfairness....all I am doing is sticking two fingers up at nurses, doctors and other hard working employed professionals...

We don't have to save the world. The world is big enough to look after itself. What we have to be concerned about is whether or not the world we live in will be capable of sustaining us in it.

Are you planning to knock Mrs SG over the head with your club and drag her back to your cave?
