    Buying Shares.

Can you buy shares for someone as a prezzie?

One thing my hubby has always wanted was to get stuck into the Stock Market - what better bday prezzie?

Can anyone recommend any good websites (and any good shares? )

If he likes excitement then buy him some banking shares
The court heard Darren Upton had written a letter to Judge Sally Cahill QC saying he wasn’t “a typical inmate of prison”.

But the judge said: “That simply demonstrates your arrogance continues. You are typical. Inmates of prison are people who are dishonest. You are a thoroughly dishonestly man motivated by your own selfish greed.”

Not exactly romantic is it? Why not buy him a good bottle of wine that can mature for several years. Even if it doesn't go up in value, he'll have something nice to drink.
And what exactly is wrong with an "ad hominem" argument? Dodgy Agent, 16-5-2014

Blasterbates posted a moneyweek article on high yield shares worth considering. Dragged down recently by the banks, but long term good bets, IMHO.

Most high street banks have online share dealing accounts

Couldn't agree more. Shares are a crap idea. How about a radio controlled helicopter? It'll definately go up.. even if not in value.
Sval-Baard Consulting Ltd - we're not satisfied until you're not satisfied.

Nothing says "you're a loser" more than owning a motivational signature about being a winner.

We've already got a wine cellar actually, otherwise that'd be a great idea Mich.
