    Would you believe it...

    In the current market, a house which has been up for sale for a year, received an offer just a couple of grand more than we were happy to pay the same day we were about to put our offer in.

    The only logical explanation is the housing market has turned, prices are rising, everyone's boomed, etc

    That is a surprising coincidence. Surely no estate agent can claim something like that more than once or twice in his career.

      My folks house has just sold, and the people buying it had 3 offers on theirs in the last 2 weeks.

          Oh well, the idea was "rent unless something exceptional comes up", so back to saving up until we can buy for cash when it reaches the bottom
