The 'Snouts in the trough' party !!

So Labour passed a law in 2003 to exempt themselves from tax on overnight expenses. Truly confirmation of them being the 'snouts in the trough' party. Every other individual has to pay tax on benefits in kind, but for MPs.

The 'secretive' legislation is section 292 of the Income Tax(Earnings and Pensions) Act of 2003 which allows MPs to claim for such things as furnishings for their second homes without paying any tax.

... and they have the nerve to criticise Sir Fred Goodwin !!

I wonder how many muslim MPs and life peers there are, such as Lord Ahmed.

It must cause them untold grief to be accused of having their snouts in the trough

Gordon Brown should add the House of Commons to his list of tax havens.
