      Around £30 per hour at the top end.

      I'd suggest there weren't enough 4's and 5's to justify the higher end and I'd be expecting around £25ph-£26ph for that.

      For a 7.5 hour day you could perhaps expect £190 to £200.

      The top end would be £225.

      The actual rate offered would depend on level of responsibility, location, market rates, supply/demand at the current time for that role and negotiation.

        of course, as a contractor, you'd replace all your 3s and 4s by 5s and get £45/hr

          C++ (1)

          Why even bother putting that on your CV?

          Still, I suppose your 1 is better than AtW's 5:rollin

            I agree with the rates above...

            Get yerself some ISEB Security/BS7799 qualifications and those rates will go up £100-200 per day...

            (You put BS7799 down but how/why/where?)
